Marla's twenty years of extensive experience designing and developing communications programs for both traditional and electronic environments is further enhanced by her passion for empathic design. Her ability to anticipate unarticulated customer needs, along with her focus on solving real business problems, have resulted in innovative, effective and award-winning solutions. The year 2000 has, most fittingly, brought Marla and her team prestigious awards from USA Today, DALBAR and CAP Ventures for the design of the Merrill Lynch Group Services "Millennium" statement. Prior to her association with InForm Marla was Vice President of Design at Watzman+Keyes Information Design, where she was a central contributor to major information design projects involving new publishing technologies and data-driven documents. Her earlier career focused on the management of numerous corporate identity and financial communications projects. Marla
serves as active member of DALBARs Advisory Board for Communications
in Financial Services. She is also a speaker at industry conferences on
computer graphics, information and graphic design. In addition to the
recent honors received for "Millennium", Marla has, over the
years, been recognized by design organizations as well as industry groups
for her work in the areas of annual reports, shareholder communications
and on-demand printing. Marla received a B.A. in Graphic Design from Yale
University from where she graduated with honors.
